Man vs. Machine / 02.04.10 / 2 Comments
Kyle and I were walking past the The Greater Columbus Convention Center. It was 4AM and we'd just been eating Late Night Slice. We were reasonably merry, it's safe to say.
As we spoke of previous escapades, we casually walked through a large group of angry looking men. They weren't angry at us, though. They were angry at each other.
Not a few steps later, and the first punch was thrown. The shouting began and the kickboxing started. Kyle and I kept walking, eventually stopping about 40 yards away.
The first thing I noticed was that there weren't any clear bad guys. No one feel to the ground and everyone seemed very adept at fighting.
The second thing I noticed was a white sedan intentionally jumping the kerb and knocking one of the fighters to the ground, running over his leg.
The fighter was thrown into a car, and everybody scampered.
Kyle and I stood gobsmacked.

Real good aspect ratios lately.

Definitely the first time I've witnessed someone getting beat up by a car. About as awesome as watching someone get barbecued on a hot dog stand grill during a street fight. Never a dull moment.
